Honor those who served at the Annual Veterans Day Parade in downtown Palestine, TX. Hosted by American Legion Howard Gardner Post 85, this meaningful community tradition brings together veterans, military vehicles, decorated floats, local organizations, and spectators for a patriotic Saturday morning celebration.
The parade begins at the Anderson County Courthouse at 10:00 a.m., traveling along Avenue A and Oak Street before concluding near the Palestine Visitor Center and Farmers Market. Bring family and friends downtown to show appreciation for the service and sacrifice of America’s veterans.

Route: Starting from the Courthouse Square the parade will proceed to Ave A, right on Spring St., right turn on Oak St., right on Howard St. The parade will conclude at Veteran's Memorial Park, where there will be a sign dedication for the newly installed Huey Helicopter as well as the awards ceremony for the parade,1st and 2nd place certificates will be given.
